First Day at School

It was that day that we all face, the first day at school for my daughter today. She started her afternoon visits before starting full time in September. Did it faze her? Of course not! In she trotted as if she had been there for years.

But it’s with a tiny churning in your stomach as you see them disappear into the classroom for the first time. They’re growing up and they’re moving out of the toddler stage and there’s nothing you can do about it…

  1. I’m facing a similar challenge this year. My little girl starts nursery in September and I’ve got mixed feelings about it. I’m thrilled that she’s now going to experience the next stage in life but I still don’t want to let go of my baby yet.

    Bittersweet experience, was it?
